Goodbye dinner with Joceyln
Friday, we finished the company at 12pm, and Joseph took us to the hotel where we were meeting the other girls! We did plan on going to a couple of markets but time went so fast, so we just ended up shopping along a high street! Our mission was to find Becca a birthday party outfit!
Jocelyn also gave us some handmade gifts, I got a keyring and a purse she had made! So cute!!
Friday night, we made plans to have dinner with Jocelyn, her boyfriend and Mr Lee from the company, another designer, we met them at our hotel and took a cab over to West Lake to a Japanese Restaurant. We then hd rinks to see in Beccas birthday at midnight, the singers in the bar we were sang to her and after a teqiula shot, we decided to call it a night, as we had Saturday nights party!
Saturday morning me and Laura had to go back over to the company to meet Jasmine and our tutors from the school, so they could see our work that we had been doing whilst there! They were really impressed to be honest and said we had worked very hard!! Jasmine said my tutors spoke highly of me! Excellent!! The other girls did West Lake and a Fabric Market, whilst we was at the company, so once we had finished with out tutors we went to Pizza Hut for dinner to wait for them! Also managed to get a sneaky nap in there before they got back! We then headed back to Ningbo to get ready for Beccas birthday!

Beautiful West Lake
Yesterday, so Thursday we only had half a day in the office, the other designers were taking us to West Lake!!
West Lake was so pretty, I was very happy we had been able to go and visit there. We ended up on a bike, not just and ordinary bike but a 3 seater, my god it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do! I did attempt to sit at the front and direct but after a few near collisions with a car and a building I was told to get off and move to the back! Ooopsie!! It was so hard work on this bike, I defo wished I had of just got one bike for myself! Much easier! Also we had to ride on the death trap of the roads over here! Bit scary especially when we was on the wrong side of the road, head on collisions sprung to mind!!
On the way back I had a bike to myself, so much more easier than the 3 seater, I kind of got in to the Chinese mind set and just didn't stop at roads, over taking buses and just prayed and hoped they would stop for me, which they did, thankfully!!
West lake had lots of really cool places to eat and shop! Also lots of very nice car shops, Lamborghini and Porsche to name a few!
After West Lake we went for dinner in a hotel called Landisson, not far from West Lake, this was a 5* hotel, Mr Chen and Miss Guo met us there, the food was amazing, it was a buffet so I could eat as much as I wanted. I had so many plates of mashed potatoes, roast beef, peas and gravy!! AMAZING!! There was also apple crumble, ice cream and sweets for dessert! I think this is the fullest I have felt whilst being in China! I was very very happy!
Miss Guo and Mr Chen will be in Shanghai, Friday and Saturday so we maybe won't see them again now. We have to go back to the company on Saturday Morning to meet our tutors but this should only take 1 hour, so they may still not be back! We have told them we will keep in touch through email, and they have also said, if we come back to China, we have to visit the company. Also the designs we have done, they will make samples of them and if the customer orders them, we will get paid for the designs. So fingers crossed this would be very helpful for final collection next year, especially if they do a huge order.
On Friday, we will leave the company at lunch time to meet the other girls, and visit some shopping centres, I think on Saturday morning the other girls will visit West Lake and some fabric markets while we come back to the company. Friday night we will have dinner with Jocelyn and her boyfriend and go to some bars with them to celebrate Beccas 21st at midnight!!

Last Week in Hangzhou
Our last week in Hangzhou at the placement!!! I think I will be a little sad to leave now, think i'm just getting in to it!
Tuesday night we booked the flights for our travel around China, it has cost us around £300, flying to Hong Kong was the most expensive as it is classed as an international flight, apparently Hong Kong isn't part of China, something I did not know before I cam here. Think flying to Hong Kong, was about £150 but I'm sure it will be worth it! The hotels are all booked as well, 9 nights in 3 different places has cost us £70 each, so pretty cheap! So we're defo all ready for going now, especially with it being our last week in Ningbo, I kind of just wanna get to see the other places now! I am most excited for Beijing and the Great Wall, I think it will be pretty special!
Getting to Hangzhou was a nightmare again, 5 hours of travel is GRIM! 12pm we arrived at the company on Wednesday, but they have said they are taking us to West Lake on Thursday, and we get to finish early on Friday because Mr Chen and Miss Guo are in Shanghai Friday and Saturday this week! The other girls are coming to Hangzhou on Friday afternoon, to see West Lake and the fabric markets, and also to come out with us and Jocelyn from the company on Friday Night.
I think thats all for now, until we visit West Lake, I haven't done that much this week!
Oh the company have said there isn't enough time to do a sample of our collection but when they do it they will email us over the pictures! Mr Chen is finally happy with our work! Thank God!!

My First Goodbye in Ningo!!!
So its Monday and this morning was interesting.... had another modelling job!! 8am, nice, and considering I didn't sleep very well it was super hard getting up and getting in the mood!! I don't think the 2 episodes of Made in Chelsea helped till 1am!! Worth it though!!
Anyway back to modelling, it was hair modelling today, so lots of weird hairstyles apparently for a magazine they are going to publish, so I had to sign a disclaimer to give them permission to use my images and my name!! Hope they send me one!! Becca has to do it tomorrow too!! So we may very well be famous in China soon!! ha!! Got paid for it aswel so bonus!!!
I had to go and say bye to my Fashion Buying class and my teacher Amy, I was a little sad to say good bye to be honest! The students asked me to stay and teach them forever! I think I will miss this place a bit more than I originally thought! Had some pictures taken with them so they can remember me, and I hope I can come back next year and see them, maybe work here again! Jasmine has said that is possible, so options are open!!
Tonight, we plan to try and book our hotels and flights/trains, for next week! We leave next Wednesday for some travelling!!! Very exciting!!! And also try and get some work done this evening!!!
