My class is meant to be on till 5pm but I get the nice surprise of finishing at 3.30pm, because my teacher Amy is giving the students a lecture, and I obviously wont know what they will be talking about, after they have done the presentations for the homework I set them! I even have my own file where the students send the homework, I like being a teacher! Its so much fun!
Amy's english is very good, so I can have a conversation with her about the work the students do, and she translates any questions I have for them. She also gave me some info on Hangzhou on where to go shopping and for some english food, so she is really helping me. She say's she learns a lot from me aswel, which is rather strange as its fashion buying and I have no real knowledge on this, but I think she just means, stuff like trends and words they use to describe prints and etc are really weird.
Laura also finishes at half 3 so we go to see Jasmine as we haven't seen her for a while. She's sweet and I think she just really wants to help us! But she gave me and Laura the best news, and we don't have to go to Hangzhou this week, we can stay here and work from Ningbo, we do have to meet our boss, Mr Chen on Thursday to show him what we have been doing, hope we get it right this time! AMAZE!!! We couldn't be more happier! The only thing I am a bit disappointed with is we was meant to be going to West Lake this week with the company, so hopefully they will maybe take us next week instead!
Time for pizza hut again.... We wait for Becca and go to downtown Ningbo, Tiyani Square, we need a Pizza Hut! We shopped first, and even went in the Tesco to see maybe if they had any english food, but they dont!! Pizza Hut, no english speaking people, so we just have to point to what we want, the size the type and the flavour, I was a little concerned when the waiter took our order with no pen, but they have amazing memories here and he remember everything. I ordered the popcorn chicken, with chorizo sausage, corn and green peppers!! FIT!!! Oh yes and we had Tsing Tao, becoming slowly addicted to this, I am having at least 1 a night, may need to nip this in the bud!!
Tiyani Square at night is very beautiful with all the lights! We found some big purple hearts, where you can have your picture taken, and feel like a celebrity, although we actually did feel like a celebrity as a crowd of Chinese people gathered around us, and also wanted to take our picture on their phones, and then they wanted their picture taken with us... all very strange!
Having a nightmare with the taxi's home, they don't seem to want to bring us back to the dorms, maybe its a little far... so after trying to get in at least 10 taxis, we found one taxi driver that would take us.... I think we may need a better note and map to show them...
Another lie in, in the morning.... so a bit of a later night tonight, I have class at 1.30, Fashion Design, and I have just had it sprung on my that I will be doing Photoshop! I am shit at Photoshop... maybe another one I'm going to have to blag!
