Ok so today was my first ever reaching class! And without a teaching degree this is a daunting task! To teach 36 Chinese students a subject I have no knowledge on is odd! But saying this is it went very well! I must be a better blagger than I thought! The weirdest thing was they know designers names but couldnt recognise collections and told me other designers? Over all was a good day! I had the Chinese teacher as my translated! I don't know how I would of gone about teaching them as their English is very poor!! I have learnt a few styles, well Chinese styles can't see they are popular back home! Disco style??? Office lady?? Rock which includes lee cooper being them main designer representing this trend! The knowledge on fashion is very different to anything I could ever imagined! They have their own trends that have nothing to do with current trends!
Tomorrow I have a full day of classes 4 hours of fashion design and then my children for English 6pm-8pm!
We also have a meeting with a lady at 12pm who wants us to model for her! Fashion and beauty or facepaint as they call it! Think we are being taken advantage off because they very rarely have English people coming! Still all very exciting! And in Wednesday I go to Hangzhou to start placement!
We went to Tong Tong English school again this evening but the class was real boring! On Chinese marketing! I did not think it would be like that! The best thing was the Mexican that followed! Chicken and beef fajitas and tsing tao beer! Amazing food!!
More work and presentations to do for tomorrow's classes!
